Carolina Ize

A friend referred us to Carolina to help find a vacation home in Virginia, and from her first response, she was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. We live abroad so we communicated via video and email for months as we navigated the sale of another house. She was flexible with our changing timeline and answered any questions we had so that when we were ready to really begin looking for a home we felt confident in the steps. When the time came, she blocked out days to take us to look at homes as we were only in town for a short time. Though we had purchased a home before, this felt like a new process because we were so supported and I truly felt that she ensured we knew all the details at each step of the way. When it came time for an offer and a contract, she walked us through each detail and explained things clearly. I felt confident that I knew exactly what we were agreeing to. She went above and beyond multiple times throughout the process, even arranging for a locksmith and contractor she had referred to us to join her at the final walkthrough on closing day so that we could get started with some next steps. All of this while we were abroad so she called us so we could be part of the process. We are still in contact to get referrals for other services as we've been so impressed with every referall so far. Being new to an area as a homeowner is overwhelming, and it is so helpful to know that the contacts she gives us are going to be of the same caliber of service that she has shown us repeatedly. We were absolutely blown away by Carolina and we would jump at the chance to work with her again should we ever choose to sell or purchase another home in Virginia.

It is with great admiration and praise that I write this review as a record of my experience working with Carolina Ize from the Long & Foster Realty Group of Lee Highway in Arlington, VA. It is my hope she will be appropriately recognized for her excellent interpersonal skills, and her dedication to her work, but especially to her clients. I remember the day I called the office out of sheer desperation. I had re-located to the DC Metro area for work, and was commuting a substantial distance each day. Searching for a place to call home was no easy task, and with a particularly messy profile it seemed most of the time, hopeless. The stress was becoming overwhelming, and the entire notion of moving became quite daunting and, frankly, frightening. The moment Carolina came into the picture I was no longer alone, no longer afraid and no longer in a whirlwind of panic and despair. This is not to say she swooped in, and moments later I was signing a lease. It was her commitment to the tedious mission of finding a place for me and my husband, and the real feeling of teamwork that has impressed me and driven me to express my gratitude of her services. As one counts on from their realtor, there is a level of expectation you hope is met. I am pleased to report Carolina went above and beyond during the process of helping to find us a rental. Hours upon hours of her life, she devoted to my personal welfare and pursuit of happiness. Even while on vacation, she insisted I reach out to her with any questions or concerns. She made me feel like she was there for me anytime I needed her; and she was. Through numerous disappointments, she consoled me, in times of doubt, she encouraged me. She is not only an exceptional asset to the realty work force, but a model of determination,persistence and knowledge; a figure of genuine skill. With a non-judgemental attitude she fought for a lifestyle she knew I deserved. She exhausted every option possible, and in the end, her hard work paid off. As a new resident of Arlington, VA, I am immensely grateful, for if it weren't for Carolina I would probably still be without a place to call home. I will continue to refer prospective clients to her, and hopefully get the pleasure to once again team up with, who I find to be, a most exemplary realtor.

Carolina is a very attentive and knowledgeable agent; one who has patience and truly cares whether you find the right house for you. On the selling side, she goes above and beyond to ensure your house will get top dollar. In addition, her personality is infectious, so the house hunting experience (which can be so stressful) is an enjoyable experience as well. Highly recommend to all.

Carolina was an excellent realtor for me. I was very hesitant in starting the process of finding a place to live. We met and she walked me through the different stages that were going to happen. She was very attentive to my wants and needs of what I was looking for. Carolina helped me be realistic in what I wanted related to what was on the market. When I had questions about anything related to the buying process, she was very approachable and responded to my questions quickly. She found a place for me and we saw it and I immediately knew it was just what I wanted. Carolina worked very quickly to get the contract written up for me and provided me with guidance for the upcoming steps in the process. Since buying and moving into my new home, she has been quick to answer my home improvement questions. I highly recommend Carolina as a realtor.
